Head of Product
The Head of Product is a unique role that combines the strategic vision of a technical product leader with the hands-on expertise of a primary sales engineer.
This role involves immersing yourself in Neurophos' technical product landscape, actively participating in modeling of customer workloads on Neurophos’ hardware to estimate benchmark metrics and utilizing technical expertise to closely engage with customers. The Head of Product’s work will bridge the gap between the technical intricacies of our offerings and the practical requirements of our customers, ensuring seamless alignment between product development and successful sales outcomes.
Silicon Photonics Lead
The Silicon Photonics Lead will drive the design, optimization and architecture of novel silicon photonic chips for the Neurophos hardware platform. This individual will take part in all aspects of the development process from initial conception to design, layout, and testing of silicon photonic systems and subsystems. This entails collaborating with multifunctional engineering teams for seamless integration of the silicon photonic devices with our other technologies, as well as interfacing with our fabrication partners to ensure manufacturability and delivery. An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field is required for this position as well as a minimum of 5 years industry experience in silicon photonic design and optimization.
Silicon Photonics IC
Neurophos seeks a Silicon Photonics Engineer to design and optimize cutting-edge photonic devices for our revolutionary Optical Computing Platform. This role focuses on device modeling, testing, and integration, in collaboration with fabrication partners and interdisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates have a background in photonics design, simulation, and layout, and are excited to contribute to next-generation AI hardware development.
Head of Software
The Head of Software will plan for and execute the development of Neurophos’ software stack from the ground up. This position requires substantial interaction with the hardware architecture and hardware design teams. Substantial experience developing software for application specific hardware chips and unconventional computing systems is required. In addition to overseeing the software development activities and coordinating with other teams, the right candidate is expected to contribute to everyday software development and quality assurance activities. The software stack consists primarily of a machine learning compiler along with its associated tools, one or more hardware performance simulators and a machine learning operators library.
Head of AI SoC Architecture
The Head of AI SoC Architecture is a key leader of the company that will be expected to participate and contribute to broader technology and product decision-making. This individual will spearhead the design of cutting-edge AI accelerator SoCs, integrating innovative silicon photonics and Metasurface technologies. Responsibilities include architecting high-performance AI cores, optimizing for power, performance, and area, and collaborating across teams to drive advancements in machine learning workloads. This role requires deep expertise in AI/ML hardware, SoC design, and leadership, offering a unique opportunity to influence next-generation AI solutions.
Advanced Packaging Leader
Neurophos seeks an Advanced Packaging Leader to spearhead the design, integration, and execution of complex semiconductor packaging solutions. This role focuses on 3D stacking a photonic integrated circuit (PIC) atop an electronic integrated circuit (EIC) and integrating the stack into a 2.5D CoWoS package. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in advanced packaging technologies, vendor ecosystems, and the mechanical, integration, and design challenges associated with high-density heterogeneous packages. This is a critical role in ensuring the success of Neurophos’ groundbreaking AI hardware platform.
Sr. Digital Design Engineer
Neurophos seeks a Senior Digital Design Engineer to lead the development of high-speed SoC designs for our revolutionary AI accelerator chip. This role involves close collaboration with the SoC Architect and other system-level teams, such as verification and physical design, to implement and optimize digital logic for high-performance, low-power systems. Responsibilities include RTL coding, synthesis, timing closure, and working within established industry protocols and standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with high-speed digital design, AI-focused architectures, and industry-standard tools such as Verilog, VHDL, and synthesis tools.
Optomechanical Engineer
Neurophos is seeking an Optomechanical Engineer to collaborate with our optical engineering team in designing and constructing high-precision mechanical housings for advanced optical systems. This role demands expertise in creating thermally resilient structures that ensure the integrity and alignment of complex optical assemblies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in optomechanical design, thermal management, and precision engineering, with experience in rapid prototyping to iterate and refine designs.
Polymath
This is a super smart physics or math major, whether undergrad or PhD, fresh-out with lots of energy and ready to tackle any hard problems. Can program in several languages (Python is a must), strong math skills, and is ready to crack any of the extra hard problems any of the team members have lying around. We are indexing on raw intelligence for this position rather than experience.
